Silverline Medical Institute Nurse Aide Training Program consists of two parts:

CNA Training Program Part 1:

Part 1 of the Nurse Aide training is done in the classroom. In the course of the classroom training, students will learn all aspects of patient care, through lectures, audio-video, and practical demonstrations.

CNA Training Program Part 1:

Part 2 of the training program consists of:

  • Hands-on experience: After classroom training, students gain practical skills through clinical training (externship) at a healthcare facility.

  • Supervision: A qualified instructor, licensed by the Texas State Education Department, supervises students during the externship.

  • Teamwork: Students work alongside other nursing aides, nurses, and medical professionals.

  • Curriculum: The program follows the 100-hour Texas nurse aide curriculum.

  • National portability: Upon certification in Texas, students may be able to transfer their certification to work as a CNA in other states.

This information effectively informs potential students about what to expect during the clinical training phase of the program.
